This flashlight sits in a cradle that remains plugged into your outlet. The charging cradle also has an automatic night light built in, automatically illuminates in dark rooms, and turns off when not needed.

The flashlight comes on automatically when the power fails, making it easy to find. Just remove it from the cradle. The unit automatically turns off when returned to the cradle and power returns, and also has an on-off switch, and a flashing function as well.
